I googled best driving roads in Saint Louis and what I found did not disappoint.
My route started down highway T, which eventually turned into highway V. The road was nice and twisty with generous speed limits! (Didn't see one cop along the way, not that I was doing anything that stupid...) After this short journey, I hopped on Highway 47 over the Missouri River and back up Highway 94 toward Chesterfield. 94 was also a great twisty road and passed by a few wineries and a cool biker bar.
I had never just taken a planned drive like this before and I loved every second of it! It kind of gives you a new appreciation for your car and you learn about your driving as well.
I urge my fellow oppose to go out and find a road at there soonest convenience. If you're not sure where to look, just get out a map and look for something twisty or google "Best driving roads in ............" You will not be disappointed

The whole loop I took his highly recommended. You can stop along 94 to look at the Missouri River, or stop on HWY 47 for gas/snacks. Definitely a good time and I believe you live in west county if I remember correctly? I'm from Ballwin, so this was a pretty quick road to get to for some awesome fun!

That loop you took would actually lead me right back home too. I'm in Maryland Heights so I could just hop on 270 and get on 100 and be right at the start of the road.

Like start where and end where? Is there a certain point I should go to, or just kind of drive along down the road anywhere and enjoy the views?

We (~15 cars) do cruises up thru there about once a month in the summer. We've done river road, too, best in the fall when the leaves are turning. There's also some good roads going to Cape G and Carlyle. I can keep up with the Corvettes fine, but those damn Lotus guys are incredible just to watch. Look for me at C&C and I'll hook you up to the various Facebook pages announcing the cruises.

Used to travel all these roads for work. Sometimes I could have taken more direct routes to Union and Washington and would still go this way. Marthasville, New Mehle and a number of other nice little towns to go through. And yes the wineries in season are cool. The biker bar at the s curve is a lot of fun as well. Looks like a biker bar but mostly weekend warriors.

Hmm. I'll have to check out the bar more thoroughly once I turn 21... April 27th can't come fast enough!
This will definitely be a road I will travel again.

I love the Hwy T run. I grew up in Ballwin and we'd routinely take T and other roads to get out to Washington and Krakow to visit family. For the longest time it seemed T was unknown, then they started cramming golf courses out there and it attracted the slow Sunday drivers. I live in SoCo now so it's a bit of a stretch to get out that way (usually do the I-44 to 100 way to visit family, much less frequently than in my youth), but I've found a few decent roads not far away off 55 and 44.

I live in Ballwin currently, so this is such a close road. I didn't realize we had such great roads this close to where I live.

Check out Old State Road out in Ellisville. When I test drive cars or need to burn off driving energy, I'll go 44 to 109, which turns into Old State Road, stop by Clancy's pub at OSR and Manchester/100 (up the hill behind QuiKTrip, $1 burgers twice a week, and good ones as the family had a butcher shop where QT is so they know all about meat), take 100 west to OO, then take that back south to eventually wind up back on 44.

I did the Highway T blast just last weekend! I used to drove it nearly weekly just for the hell of it and my ex girlfriend lived in St. Albans.
Super fun roads to drive fast on.

Definitely a lot of fun. It was my first time driving so I don't have a lot of experience with police presence, but I did not see 1 cop on the entire trip! I could have taken things a little quicker than I did.
I will be driving this road again for sure!

In 6ish years of blasting around on T I've never seen a cop. *knocks on wood*
I usually start the drive at Manchester (or 100...whatever you wanna call it haha) and drive to Labadie then turn around to do it again. Always fun and the road is empty for the most part. There was a guy in his daily driver GT3 that I know who came up hot on me when I was driving. I pulled over to let him pass and he RIPPED the hell away from me. Put a huge smile on my face for the rest of the journey haha

Good to know. I honestly woke up this morning and wanted to go for a drive. Just googled and found the road. I thought "hey, this could be fun," and oh was it ever!
To be honest, you can have a lot of fun on T without ever going more than say 5 or 10 over...Now of course you want to do more, but 5-10 over actually is pretty enjoyable because the speed limits aren't ridiculously low.

Well you definitely found one of the best roads around us!
The speed limits are surprisingly high out there and it is, like you mentioned, fun as hell without going absurd speeds. I peg my Subie in third gear and rip my way through the area. My car is anything but fast, but it's always a good time.
I've also driven that route in a Challenger R/T, Audi S4 and a bro'd out Sierra 2500 with a diesel haha the road never disappoints!
